The Origin Story
Every place has a soul. Listen to the whispers of the past and the rhythm of the present.
“The Niagara of Thailand — a roaring wide waterfall.”
Kaeng Sopha Waterfall, located in the Thung Salaeng Luang National Park area of Wang Thong district, is a wide, impressive curtain waterfall that stretches across the rocks for over 40 meters. During the wet season (July-November), it transforms into a roaring cascade that justifies its 'Niagara of Thailand' reputation. During the dry season, the flow reduces to gentle streams trickling over the mossy rocks — still beautiful but a completely different experience. There's a short nature trail leading to the falls, and the surrounding forest offers cool shade and the sounds of tropical birds.
A spectacular wide waterfall that thunders across a cliff face during the rainy season, earning it the nickname 'The Niagara of Siam' for its impressive width and volume.
